The Chipmunk and the Dark Forest ~ Storyboard

OCAD 2024 Final

The Chipmunk and the Dark Forest is a one-minute short film about a small chipmunk living on the edge of a vast, dark forest that runs out of food for the winter and must venture into the ominous woods in search of more. Unaware of the many hidden monsters watching it, the chipmunk scurries through the shadows, narrowly escaping danger several times without even realizing it.

The Siren ~ Beat Boards

Thesis Project 2026

The Siren is my thesis for OCAD University 2026 and these are the early beatboards and concepts for the project.

The film will follow a couple who want to leave their island home but face an obstacle, the belief that women are bad luck on ships. Because of this, they must sneak aboard a travelling vessel and discover where the superstition really comes from. This story seeks to explore themes of self-fulfilling prophecies, the nature of good and evil, and the power of perspective.

The Sapphire Club ~ Storyboard

2025 Personal Project

The Sapphire Club is a personal project about a live music bar and its employees. This is an excerpt of an argument that takes place between Casey, one of the club’s oldest employees, and Kat, the newest employee. The main focus of the story is a singing and songwriting competition that Casey is struggling to enter.

2024 Humanities Project

However, once she gets on a streetcar, she feels the unwelcome stares of others, making her feel threatened and unsafe. She uses a sweater to cover herself, reflecting the idea that what a woman wears can “cause” people to make her feel uncomfortable or that it’s more acceptable to harass her because she’s dressing a certain way.

There is a phenomenon where people seem to feel more comfortable harassing others on public transit, possibly because they believe they can get away with it, as they are getting off at the next stop. This makes it easier for others to ignore the harassment, waiting it out rather than confronting it. I want to affirm that it’s okay for girls to dress in a feminine, sexual, or provocative way without fearing harassment or feeling guilty. No one should be blamed for others’ inappropriate behaviour based on what they wear.
